Little toys, soldier boys, lined up in a row
Paper rings, carolling, angels in the snow
Glowing bright, candlelight, helps to show the way
Through the Advent of our Christmas Day
There'll be candycanes, and windowpanes, all lit up with the glow
We'll have hands to hold, and stories told, of Christmas long ago
Then as we place the baby in a manger by the tree
It's Christmas, the way it should be
Let's put Christ back in Christmas, remember this year
He came to a manger, so all could draw near
And with Christ back in Christmas, the whole world will see
The love of our God shine through you and through me.
Disciples told us long ago, about a blessed child
Who came to earth, a Savior's birth, His spirit meek and mild
The perfect plan, for all of man, to come into God's grace
His holy name, no other can replace
Now the Church bells ring, and choirs sing, proclaiming Jesus birth
He's the gift of love, from up above, to everyone on earth
So once again we tell the world, how on that blessed night
God came to earth, and filled the world with light.
Let's put Christ back in Christmas, remember this year
He came to a manger, so all could draw near
And with Christ back in Christmas, the whole world will see
The love of our God shine through you and through me.
